Congratulations to Julia & Digby who got married at Halswell House in Somerset. The couple works in theater production in London and when they saw the Halswell House for the first time they were hook by the atmosphere and beauty of the place. Julia was brave enough to have all group photos outside, so we have to make sure that they are done quickly and smoothly, which is very crucial for winter weddings. Having a toastmaster is always a bonus. Thank you Chris.After the first dance we had a fantastic firework display, which was Julia's surprise to her new husband and all the guests.

What advice would you give to brides reading this who are planning their wedding?
Make sure that you have a trusted, reliable friend on hand during the morning of the wedding. Everyone who is closely and emotionally involved in the wedding will be too excited and/or stressed to be much use so having someone on stand-by whom you trust to be calm and organised is vital. There will inevitably be things that need doing which you haven't thought of and knowing there's someone you can ask to sort those things out will keep you and your mum from getting too stressed. To use a theatre analogy, just make sure you've got a good stage manager on hand!
