Rosie and her delightful bridesmaids were getting ready in the
Henbury Lodge Hotel. Simon and all of the guests were waiting for the open air celebration at
Cherry Orchards a beautiful secluded community near Blaise Castle.
It was a very personal celebration with lots of tears and laughter. After the cream teas and group photos all of the guests relocated to the
Westbury Village Hall for a BBQ and evening reception. It was a pleasure for me to capture Rosie & Simon's celebration of love.

Most memorable moment of the day?
Bride: Exchanging our own written vows under the chestnut tree with natural confetti blowing down everytime the wind blew.
Groom: Seeing Rosie the first time in her dress as she walked towards me.
What advice would you give to brides reading this who are planning their wedding?
Make sure that the contents of the ceremony are what
you want and are true to what you value and stand for.
Remember its not all about following the crowd and doing it because its 'what you do'. Make your day meaningful to you and add touches that reflect who you both are as people and as a couple. Do that and you'll make it memorable for your guests rather than it just being another 'generic' wedding. And get people involved as it cuts costs, adds a personal touch and family and friends will feel its then meaningful for them and they can really be part of the day rather than just attending and 'looking on'. Be creative and inventive. There are so many ways to save money that will make your day unique and stand out from other weddings
Oh, and find moments in the day to take stock as it all passes quickly!
Honeymoon: One week in the Forest of Dean followed by 3 weeks in India at the end of the year. Hopefully.
