Last chance to enter and win photo shoot in Paris!

Win a photo shoot in Paris and get the chance to wear your wedding dress again! Photo Dabek offer one lucky couple the chance of a day in Paris and £100 towards your travel expenses. The photo shoot will take place between the 19th and 22nd September 2011. The winning couple will be photographed in the romantic city of Paris. Travel and overnight accomodation are not included. Bethan & Craig were married at beautiful Coombe Lodge in Blagdon. When we arrived to photograph the bridal preparations at the Plush Hotel the rain was coming down hard.

Bethan looked stunning in the fabulous dress by Anne Harding. At the Coombe Lodge we had some time and took some great pictures with Craig, his bestman and ushers (thank you for your help guys).

The wedding ceremony was a roller coaster of tears and laughter from the bride and her bridesmaids, even the father of the bride had to take a deep breath and compose himself when he saw his daughter in her dress for the first time.

The pianist Ian Towers was doing fabulous job of entertaining the guests before the wedding breakfast. After the speeches it miraculously stopped raining which gave a chance to take some photographs of the guests outside and a few less informal shots of the bridal party and the couple.

In the evening The Limited Edition band entertaining guests on the dance floor while we entertained them with our mini-studio which was a great fun for the evening guests and capped the night off well

What advice would you give to brides reading this who are planning their wedding?

1) Be organised, plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time for all the little fiddly bits!

2) Delegate tasks to family and friends (you don't have to do everything yourself!)

3) Allow time for a pampering session before the big day, you deserve it!

4) Try and get plenty of sleep and eat healthy in the run up.

5) Allow time plenty of time to get ready in the morning of the wedding, you want to be nice and relaxed and in no rush.

6) Try and savour every moment on the day, the day will fly by.

Adam & Laura got married in Barbados in January. On Easter Sunday they decided to tie the knot again, this time in the presence of their friends and family. They chose the Trinity Centre for their original druid ceremony and reception. The venue was beautifully decorated by Reveries .Just before the first dance guests had a chance to enjoy a slideshow from the Barbados wedding that we had put together especially for the couple. As Laura is Italian, there were lots of guests from Italy, who were great fun and loved our mini-studio service in the evening.

What advice would you give to brides reading this who are planning their wedding?

Get people involved and don't be afraid to delegate your bridesmaids and ushers, they will take lots of pressure off you, then smile and enjoy your special day!!
